Selecting our favorite weddings for 2015 is like asking a parent to select their favorite child, though we feel maybe picking the child is easier. We truly LOVE every wedding we are honored to be a part of, however there are always those that tug at our heart-strings for one reason or another. Maybe it was the details they added, their vows, the dances, or the way they looked in each other's eyes. These are in no particular order, but here are our fav's form 2015:
Tanya and Josh were married on June 6, 2015 at the beautiful Dock580. They represented our official first Columbus, Ohio wedding after we relocated from Cleveland. Their wedding was simply amazing filled with so much love and fun from all their guests and family members. Short North Piece of Cake made a delicious desert for this couple to compliment an amazing meal provided by the staff at Dock580.
Nikki and Gary were married on April 18, 2015 in Cleveland, Ohio with their reception taking place at the Marriott Key Center. Nikki and Gary are such an amazing couple and their bridal party was simply gorgeous and so fun to work with. We hit all the major photo locations in downtown Cleveland for their wedding day including the Q, Browns Stadium, East 4th Street, and the LeBron mural just to name a few. Nikki and Gary's wedding was very special to us since Sara and I worked with Nikki's father Rick for over 15 years. I was all tears watching my friend walk his daughter down the aisle.
Shanna and Tony's New Years Even Wedding was surely one for the record books. Taking place at the historic Warner Theatre in Erie, PA this wedding truly was a blast. The decor of the theater was simply stunning and Shanna's 30's inspired gown really set it off. So much fun, food, and dancing to truly make this wedding one of our most memorable events.
On January 23rd we had the honor to photograph the wedding of Michelle and Tom at the beautiful Rivercrest Farms. Michelle has been in front of our camera before when she was in her best friend Alex's wedding but this time it was her turn. Their beautiful rustic venue matched perfectly with the UGG's the ladies wore and the cowboy boots and jeans wore by the gentlemen.
It is impossible for us to forget all the fun we had celebrating Donn and Dale's wedding! This evening at Red Brick Occasions was full of love, awesome food, a cake by the Suisse Shop too pretty to cut, and wild fun!. We were honored to be part of their celebration and we made two new friends in the process.
