On June 6, 2015 Mak Rabbitt Photography made history in Columbus Ohio with our first official wedding photographed in the capital city. This would not have been possible without our amazing couple, Tanya and Josh! We had a beautiful day and a day that we will never forget for many reasons: June 6th is the anniversary of the allied invasion of D-Day, this was also our bride's birthday as well as her sister's birthday, and American Pharaoh won the triple crown. What a monumental day! This is a day that Sara and I will surely never forget! Here are some of the many beautiful moments we captured: Josh and his groomsmen paid homage to the movie, "The Hangover" with their Wolfpack inspired custom Chuck Taylor shoes:
Tanya's dress and details were absolutely gorgeous:
The Park Street Tavern was a nice quick stop for the boys to grab a quick cooler before the ceremony got underway. One of The groom's favorite short north locations.
Dock 580 Venue provided the most beautiful backdrop for this early June outdoor ceremony surrounded by family and friends.
We made a quick stop at OSU stadium for some bridal party shots before the reception.
Here are some dancing shots from the reception at Dock 580.
Piece of Cake put together this masterpiece that was nearly too good looking to eat, however in over 20 years of wedding photography I have never tasted anything so delicious in all my life. Sara and I may be renewing vows to have one of these in our presence.
Tanya's brother-in-law grabbed the mic and sang a few custom songs for the bride and groom to add and extra special touch to the reception to really cap things off.
This really was an amazing and memorable wedding for the Mak Rabbitt Photography duo! Sara and I really want to get all of those Stamp women together for an epic portrait session. Ladies, next time you are all together, Cleveland or Columbus, give us a call!
