Lancaster Ohio Wedding of Sarah & James photographed by Mak Rabbitt Photography

Saturday August 8, 2015 started bright and early for the Mak Rabbitt duo with me heading out at 0730 to meet the bride and her maid of honor for their hair and makeup at Salon Naturale i n Lancaster, Ohio. Sarah's MOH started the day out right with a few homemade mimosas to settle those wedding day jitters just enough!

At one point our bride was having her hair and nails done at the same time, talk about being pampered! Salon Naturale did a fantastic job with the hair and our make up artist did a wonderful job on the two ladies to have them all dolled up for the celebration!

Following the Salon, it was time for Sarah to get into her lovely wedding gown by David's Bridal, gathering help from some family members and her maid of honor. Sara took care of the ladies and I helped the guys with a few quick photos of them getting into their Jos A Bank tuxedos, stopping along the way to grab some ring shots with the shoes. We were now ready to get married!

Sarah chose to have her son Quinn walk her down the aisle and there was not a dry eye in the church including the "big guy" here!

Following the traditional Catholic ceremony, we captured some beautiful images inside, then outside the church making the best use of the beautiful weather Lancaster, Ohio offered us.

We then headed to Downtown Lancaster, Ohio where we stopped first at the Old City Fountain for some well wishes and some great photos! Sarah insisted on a photo at the Gazebo downtown where her parents were actually married! We finished with some great shots in front of the Fairfield Federal Savings and Loan building.

After a quick walk down the street, we were at our final destination for the evening, Ale House 1890! Now we have had plenty of wedding meals before, but the crew at Ale House 1890 did it right! Everything was great, the service, the food and of course the atmosphere of this historic building.

All the decorations were handmade by the bride and helped dress up the already lovely venue just that much more. The wedding cake was created by Suisse Shop containing a lemon, chocolate and almond layer, I cant speak for the other two, but the almond was delicious!

We wish Sarah, Jimmy and Quinn a lifetime of love and happiness and can't wait to share all our images with them once they return from Jamaica!
