North Bank Park Columbus Ohio
Well folks it happened again! The Ohio weather tried and I say tried to ruin another one of our engagement sessions, but our clients are persistent and I am not fair weather photographer. Mere minutes before this engagement session took place the wind was howling and hail was falling from the sky so what you see below is rather amazing that it occurred in the same day. Only in Ohio!
About the Couple
Kim and Chris are probably two of the most laid back and fun couples I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Not to mention their fur-baby Bosley, who by the way has his own Instagram page with almost 800 followers….check him out @sheepadoodlebosley!
Kim and Chris are both career oriented individuals that met in a modern way through eHarmony. Kim almost fell immediately for Chris’s easy going attitude and her ability to be herself around him. After a few phone conversations, Chris made it official with a first date request to Marcella’s at Polaris March 22, 2014 to be precise. This first date was a big hit not only in the dining department but they caught the Lego Movie as well! Marcella’s was such a hit Kim and Chris return here year after year for their anniversary!
Fast forward two years….Chris is ready to pop the question but he needs to make this super special, so he enlists the help of super pup Bosley. Here is how Chris explained it to us:
I had a tag made identical to his normal one except instead of our contact information it said simply "Will you Marry Dad?". I knew that Kim loves visiting East TN where I grew up, and especially Market Square in Knoxville. So armed with a diamond that took 6 agonizing weeks to arrive and the cutest puppy east of the Mississippi we loaded up to go for a quick lunch on the town. To keep the proposal a surprise I put a small piece of tape over the important question and even hid his tag under a bandana to avoid suspicion. Once we got to Market Square I couldn't wait long and as soon as we got to the park adjoining the square I asked Kim what was wrong with Bosleys tag, showing her the regular one. I asked her to check his tag and she discovered the tape and was really confused. I told her to remove it and read the tag. She did and when she turned around and there I was on one knee with the ring. I asked and she said yes!
Below is a small sample of some of the beautiful images we captured of the trio, we hope you enjoy them!
